Study Mode - Learning with Spaced Repetition

Master your flashcards with GoCards' study mode featuring spaced repetition algorithm, four grading buttons, interactive gestures, and progress tracking.

Starting a Study Session

GoCards automatically selects which cards to show based on:

  • Cards you've never seen before
  • Cards due for review today
  • Cards you marked as "Again" recently
  • Swipe left/right - Move between cards
  • Tap bottom section - Reveal the definition (answer) and grading buttons

Toolbar Options (Top)

  • ✏️ Edit Card
  • ⋮ More Menu
    • + New - Create new card
    • 🗑️ Delete - Removes the current card (with confirmation)
    • (TODO insert undo icon) Reset view - resets view settings like zoom, size, ratio betwen term and definition

Adjust Settings

  • Increase forgotten card limit if sessions are too short
  • See Deck Settings
